The route alternates-almost regularly-with woods, vineyards, stone villages with vegetable gardens and fountains, and with the same cadence paths, mule tracks, asphalt or cemented roads.

The starting point is the symbol of Morbegno since the 18th century, namely the Ganda Bridge that makes the Adda River "pass". The road is then to be crossed very carefully and then followed - to the left - for a short distance until it crosses the signs indicating "Sentiero del Viandante" and Civo. Hairpin bends go up the Costiera and at the ninth it is to veer to the right toward the village of San Bello, with the little church of the same name already in sight, to be crossed between stone and wooden houses. The gate is the gateway to the beautiful forest. The dry stone walls that bordered the trail in many places explain well how important it was in the past. The trail exits the woods onto Provincial Road 10, which must be crossed to reach the concrete road on the opposite side. The hamlet of Selvapiana is worth a stop and a visit. The hamlet is an excellent example of respectful renovation. The route continues one more stretch along the paved road among the vineyards (here there is also the Terrazze dei Cech Cooperative). In the locality of Acquamarcia it is to deviate to the right and follow, uphill, the mule track that crosses the nucleus and then climbs up to the locality of San Biagio with the little church of the same name in a panoramic position. The carriage road, with a couple of "cuts" on a path, is to descend to the locality of Santa Croce. The return to Morbegno passes again in the locality of San Bello and then is all downhill on a mule track with a certain gradient.

Il percorso alterna - in modo quasi regolare - boschi, vigne, borghi in sasso con orti e fontane e con la stessa cadenza sentieri, mulattiere, strade asfaltate o cementate.

Il punto di partenza è il simbolo di Morbegno dal XVIII secolo, ovvero il Ponte di Ganda che fa "passare" il fiume Adda. La strada è quindi da attraversare con molta attenzione e poi da seguire - verso sinistra - per un breve tratto fino ad incrociare la segnaletica che indica "Sentiero del Viandante" e Civo. I tornanti salgono la Costiera e al nono è da deviare a destra verso la località di San Bello, con la chiesetta omonima già in vista, da attraversare tra le case in sasso e legno. Il cancello è la porta di accesso al bel bosco. I muretti a secco che delimitato il sentiero in molti tratti spiegano bene quanto è stato importante nel passato. Il tracciato esce dal bosco sulla Strada Provinciale 10, da attraversare per raggiungere la cementata sul lato opposto. La località Selvapiana merita uno stop e una visita. Il borgo è un ottimo esempio di ristrutturazione rispettosa. Il percorso prosegue ancora un tratto lungo la strada asfaltata tra le vigne (qui c'è anche la Cooperativa Terrazze dei Cech). In località Acquamarcia è da deviare a destra e seguire, in salita, la mulattiera che attraversa il nucleo e poi sale fino in località San Biagio con la chiesetta omonima in posizione panoramica. La strada carrozzabile, con un paio di "tagli" su sentiero, è da scendere fino in località Santa Croce. Il ritorno a Morbegno ripassa in località San Bello e poi è tutto in discesa su una mulattiera con una certa pendenza.

Das Tor ist der Eingang zu dem schönen Wald. Die Trockenmauern, die den Weg an vielen Stellen markieren, erklären gut, wie wichtig er in der Vergangenheit war. Der Weg verlässt den Wald auf der Provinzstraße 10, die man überqueren muss, um die Betonstraße auf der gegenüberliegenden Seite zu erreichen. Der Weiler Selvapiana ist einen Halt und einen Besuch wert. Die Route führt ein weiteres Stück auf der Asphaltstraße durch die Weinberge (hier befindet sich auch die Cooperativa Terrazze dei Cech). In der Ortschaft Acquamarcia muss man nach rechts abbiegen und dem Saumpfad bergauf folgen, der den Ortskern durchquert und dann zur Ortschaft San Biagio mit dem gleichnamigen Kirchlein in Panoramalage hinaufsteigt. Die Fahrstraße mit einigen "Einschnitten" auf dem Weg führt hinunter zur Ortschaft Santa Croce. Der Rückweg nach Morbegno führt zurück zur Ortschaft San Bello und dann geht es auf einem Saumpfad mit einer gewissen Steigung bergab.
