The Verva Loop is a loop route that starts from Bormio and leads to the most remote heart of Valtellina. You pedal leaving civilization behind, climbing among larch forests, pastures, and ancient mule tracks. Alpe Verva welcomes you with its silent plateau, surrounded by imposing mountains that watch like guardians. The track alternates high-altitude dirt roads and grassy valleys, offering changing panoramas and moments of absolute calm. It is not a route to be rushed, but a slow and immersive journey that reconnects you with the mountain. You return to Bormio with tired legs but certain you have lived an authentic and intense experience.
, it=Il Verva Loop è un percorso ad anello che parte da Bormio e conduce nel cuore più remoto della Valtellina. Si pedala lasciandosi alle spalle la civiltà, salendo tra boschi di larici, pascoli e antiche mulattiere. L’Alpe Verva accoglie con il suo altopiano silenzioso, circondato da montagne imponenti che vegliano come guardiani. La traccia alterna sterrati d’alta quota e valloni erbosi, regalando panorami sempre diversi e momenti di assoluta quiete. Non è un itinerario da affrontare di corsa, ma un viaggio lento e immersivo, che riporta a un rapporto diretto con la montagna. , de=Der Verva Loop ist eine Rundstrecke, die in Bormio startet und ins entlegenste Herz der Valtellina führt. Man radelt, die Zivilisation hinter sich lassend, durch Lärchenwälder, Weiden und alte Saumpfade. Die Alpe Verva empfängt mit ihrer stillen Hochebene, umgeben von imposanten Bergen, die wie Wächter wachen. Die Strecke wechselt zwischen hochgelegenen Schotterwegen und grasbewachsenen Tälern, bietet stets neue Ausblicke und Momente absoluter Ruhe. Es ist keine Strecke, die man schnell abfahren sollte, sondern eine langsame und eindringliche Reise, die eine direkte Verbindung mit dem Berg ermöglicht. Man kehrt mit müden Beinen nach Bormio zurück, aber der Gewissheit, eine authentische und intensive Erfahrung erlebt zu haben.
