Skiing in Bormio, On the Famous World Cup Slopes

Vertical thrills. In Bormio, the highest pistes are up at 3000 m and you can ski down to the town centre, 1800 m below. And after skiing, you can soak your muscles in the spas!

The resort of Bormio is world famous for at least two reasons: the first is the fact that you can ski from an altitude of 3012 m all the way down to the town at 1225 m, the second is the most technically challenging course in the Alpine skiing World Cup, the mighty Pista Stelvio. What an incredible thrill to ski all the way from top to bottom via the Pista Stelvio in one go!

Something for everyone.

There is so much more! Our pistes have something for everyone, whether you are an experienced skier or a beginner. The resort of Bormio features:

- 50 km of pistes with perfect snow conditions from April to November
- 15 ski lifts
- 1 snow park
- 2 ‘funslopes’ designed for children
- family park and....

the piste of champions!

Anyone who loves skiing will want to put themselves to the test on the same slopes that the professionals use for the Alpine Skiing World Cup. In Bormio, the mighty Pista Stelvio awaits, offering a tough and thrilling challenge, waiting to be tamed. Will you be the next Dominik Paris?

This slope is also open at night, under floodlights, when you can also enjoy a drink in one of the mountain huts and take in the views of Bormio at night.

Bormio Skipass, 1 skipass 3 resortsWhy ski just in Bormio? The Bormio Skipass covers all three resorts and allows you to use the lifts in each of them. One ticket covering 110 km of pistes in Bormio, Santa Caterina Valfurva and Cima Piazzi-San Colombano. With this skipass, the use of the skibus is free.

The perfect combination of skiing and spas

Relaxation and skiing go hand-in-hand in Bormio. After your day on the slopes, rest your muscles in the warm waters of one of the town’s three wellness centres: QC Terme Bagni Vecchi, QC Terme Bagni Nuovi and Bormio Terme.
