On the northern right side, the wide and steep meadows along the slopes descend from Sasso Campana and Sasso Farinaccio, while the opposite southern side is covered with dense woods from which side valleys emerge that we will cross later. The final stretch brings us to Alpe Malghera, nestled on a wide plateau occupied by numerous huts and its imposing Sanctuary.

The next path on the Sentiero Italia develops at altitude in the woods and allows us to discover the alpine pastures of Pedruna, Guinzana, and Piana before reaching Supiani, from where the view can run from Monte Storile on the right to the whole Val Grosina up to Eita and the rocks of Sasso Maurigno. The paved road that climbs the valley from Fusino (1200 m) up to Malghera (1962 m) is marked with number 258. The cycling is good up to Campo Pedruna (1706 m), then the last section is steeper.

After visiting the Sanctuary, you descend to the small bridge and take the track no. 201 of the Sentiero Italia to the right, which runs through the woods and leads to Grasso Pedruna (1937 m). From here, above the last huts up high, a new forest road starts that takes us to Alpe Guinzana (1930 m). The next dirt road, already existing for years, reaches Alpe Piana (1880 m) always with sign no. 201 and continues up to Carette (1758 m). Just before this locality, we find the right fork of the Sentiero Italia which continues up to Alpe Schiazzera and then to Tirano. We continue straight instead (sign no. 243) descending to Supiani (1213 m). Then we leave the paved road to Grosotto, pass in front of the small church, and take a dirt road heading northwest, which soon becomes a path and takes us back to Val di Sacco at the locality of Pier (1325 m), from where we quickly return to Fusino.
