Gavia, One of the Classic Climbs of the Giro d’Italia

Some might call it the Stelvio’s little brother, topping out at 2,652 m.

A legend in the world of cycling, everyone knows the Gavia Pass, in particular for the famous snow storm during the 1988 Giro d’Italia! Known for being a narrow, twisting road, in summer time it becomes a highly prized destination for cyclists and motorcyclists from all over the world. Take the opportunity to visit it in summer because the pass is closed in winter due to heavy snow.
