Document{{en=The beautiful paved mule track starts from the center of Fusine and climbs through the forest until it meets the asphalt road which is followed for a very short stretch. The path is then taken again on the left until reaching the church of the Madonnina and from here continue along the road for two hairpin bends up to the height of some houses. On the right, the mule track is resumed; at the fork, continue on the right to the houses of Ronco and the meadows of Dosso di Sotto. Just before Pizzabella, the mule track was destroyed by a landslide in 1987. Upon reaching Pizzabella, take the carriage road that enters the valley and leads to the core of Valmadre. On the return, follow the carriage road, pass Pizzabella, and continue to the meadows of Dosso di Sopra from where a beautiful path starts that, after a series of hairpin bends, leads to Dosso di Sotto. From this point, follow the mule track again. Until the early twentieth century, the exploitation of iron veins was very flourishing and numerous furnaces were present in Valmadre. The progressive increase in extraction and transport costs caused the end of mining activity and consequently the population abandoned the mountain. Valmadre was once at the center of intense commercial exchanges between the local populations and those of Bergamo through the Dordona Pass (2061 m), entirely traversed by the mule track. Until the 15th century, the path that crossed Valmadre climbed among inaccessible cliffs; the transit of horses and cattle was very difficult and therefore iron, dairy products, wine, and handicrafts were carried on the shoulders by men. Around 1500, the mule track was built, and the Duke of Milan imposed a tax on goods passing through the Dordona Pass. Si riprende il sentiero sulla sinistra fino a raggiungere la chiesa della Madonnina e da qui si prosegue lungo la strada per due tornanti fino all'altezza di alcune abitazioni. Sulla destra si riprende la mulattiera; al bivio si prosegue sulla destra fino alle case di Ronco e i prati del Dosso di Sotto. Poco prima di Pizzabella la mulattiera e' stata distrutta da una frano nel 1987. Giunti a Pizzabella si prende la strada carrozzabile che entra nella valle e porta al nucleo di Valmadre. Al ritorno si segue la carrozzabile, si oltrepassa Pizzabella e si prosegue fino ai prati del Dosso di Sopra da dove parte un bel sentiero che, dopo una serie di tornanti, porta al Dosso di Sotto. Da questo punto si segue di nuovo la mulattiera. Fino all'inizio del Novecento era molto fiorente lo sfruttamento delle vene del ferro ed in Valmadre erano presenti numerosi forni. Il progressivo aumento dei costi di estrazione e trasporto causo' la fine dell'attivita' mineraria e conseguentemente la popolazione abbandono' la montagna. La Valmadre in passato fu al centro di intensi scambi commerciali tra le popolazioni locali e quelle del bergamasco attraverso il passo di Dordona (2061 m.), interamente percorso dalla mulattiera. Fino al XV secolo il sentiero che percorreva la Valmadre si inerpicava fra dirupi inaccessibili; il transito di cavalli e bestiame era molto difficoltoso e quindi il ferro, i prodotti caseari, il vino e i manufatti venivano trasportati a spalla dall'uomo. Intorno al 1500 venne fatta costruire la mulattiera e il Duca di Milano impose un dazio sulle merci che transitavano attraverso il passo di Dordona. La strada carrozzabile che giunge in Valmadre fu realizzata nel 1980., de=Der wunderschöne gepflasterte Saumpfad beginnt im Zentrum von Fusine und führt durch den Wald bis zur Asphaltstraße, der man für eine kurze Strecke folgt. Rechts geht der Saumpfad weiter; an der Gabelung nimmt man den rechten Weg bis zu den Häusern von Ronco und den Wiesen des Dosso di Sotto. Kurz vor Pizzabella wurde der Saumpfad 1987 durch einen Erdrutsch zerstört. In Pizzabella nimmt man die befahrbare Straße, die ins Tal hineinführt und zum Kern von Valmadre gelangt. Auf dem Rückweg folgt man der befahrbaren Straße, passiert Pizzabella und fährt weiter bis zu den Wiesen des Dosso di Sopra, von wo aus ein schöner Weg nach einer Reihe von Serpentinen zum Dosso di Sotto führt. Von diesem Punkt folgt man wieder dem Saumpfad. Bis Anfang des zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts war der Abbau der Erzadern sehr blühend, und im Valmadre gab es zahlreiche Öfen. Der zunehmende Anstieg der Förder- und Transportkosten führte zum Ende des Bergbaus, und infolgedessen verließ die Bevölkerung das Gebirge. Valmadre war in der Vergangenheit ein Zentrum intensiven Handels zwischen den einheimischen Bevölkerungen und denen des Bergamasker Landes über den Pass von Dordona (2061 m), der vollständig vom Saumpfad durchquert wird. Bis zum 15. Jahrhundert führte der Pfad, der Valmadre durchquerte, über unbegehbare Steilhänge; der Durchgang von Pferden und Vieh war äußerst schwierig, weshalb Eisen, Milchprodukte, Wein und Handwerkswaren vom Menschen auf dem Rücken getragen wurden. Um das Jahr 1500 wurde der Saumpfad gebaut und der Herzog von Mailand erhob eine Steuer auf die Waren, die den Pass von Dordona passierten.
