Document{{en=After leaving the car in the parking lot at Valbona, follow the sign that leads to the ascent path made up of an ancient and beautiful very steep cobbled mule track. Going up you will find the Church of S. Vittore. A little further on, a detour leads to the abandoned Bettoli district. A new small bridge over the Serio stream allows us to admire a very suggestive and unique spectacle in the Orobie: the giant potholes. The potholes, deep almost circular basins dug into the rock along the watercourse, are the result of the polishing action exerted over millennia by the water that flowed over the rocks under the glacier. Upon reaching the left bank, you can admire this fascinating spectacle by climbing along the bank of the stream. Great care is needed if the ground is wet, so it is not recommended to walk this path on humid or rainy days. Continuing along the path, you move away from the stream and rejoin the mule track, to follow it up to the dirt road; then descend to the starting point, following partly the mule track and partly the dirt road. Along this path there is a very particular and interesting vegetation which, unlike most Orobie valleys, is xerophilous, i.e. dry type. Along this path there are relatively few chestnut trees and the forest, unlike others in the Orobie area, consists mainly of oaks, birches, and larches., it=Lasciata l'automobile al parcheggio in localita' Valbona, si segue l'indicazione che porta al percorso di salita costituito da un'antica e bellissima mulattiera acciottolata, molto ripida. Salendo si incontra la Chiesa di S. Vittore. Poco oltre, una deviazione conduce alla contrada dei Bettoli, ormai abbandonata. Un nuovo ponticello sul torrente Serio ci permette di ammirare uno spettacolo molto suggestivo e unico nelle Orobie: le marmitte dei giganti. Le marmitte, profonde conche quasi circolari scovate nella roccia lungo il corso d'acqua, sono il frutto dell'azione levigatrice esercitata nei millenni dall'acqua che scorreva sulle rocce sotto il ghiacciaio. Giunti sulla sponda sinistra si puo' ammirare questo affascinante spettacolo risalendo lungo la sponda del torrente. E' necessario prestare molta attenzione nel caso in cui il terreno fosse bagnato e quindi e' sconsigliata la percorrenza di questo sentiero nelle giornate umide o piovose. Proseguendo lungo il percorso, ci si discosta dal torrente e ci si immette di nuovo sulla mulattiera, da seguire fino alla strada sterrata; quindi si scende fino al punto di partenza, seguendo a tratti la mulattiera e a tratti la strada sterrata. Lungo questo percorso si trova una vegetazione molto particolare ed interessante che, contrariamente alla maggior parte delle valli orobiche, e' di tipo xerofilo, cioe' secco. Percorrendo questo sentiero si incontra un numero relativamente basso di castagni ed il bosco, diversamente dagli altri della zona orobica, e' costituito in prevalenza da querce, betulle e larici., de=Nachdem man das Auto am Parkplatz in der Ortschaft Valbona abgestellt hat, folgt man der Wegweisung, die zum Aufstiegsweg führt, der aus einem alten und sehr schönen gepflasterten Saumpfad besteht, der sehr steil ist. Beim Aufstieg trifft man auf die Kirche von S. Vittore. Kurz danach führt eine Abzweigung zur mittlerweile verlassenen Ortschaft Bettoli. Eine neue kleine Brücke über den Serio-Bach erlaubt es uns, ein sehr beeindruckendes und einzigartiges Schauspiel in den Orobie zu bewundern: die Riesenmarmitte. Die Marmitte, tiefe fast kreisförmige Mulden, die im Fels entlang des Wasserlaufs ausgegraben sind, sind das Ergebnis der schleifenden Wirkung des Wassers, das während Jahrtausenden unter dem Gletscher über die Felsen strömte. An der linken Uferseite angekommen, kann man dieses faszinierende Schauspiel bewundern, indem man das Bachufer entlang zurücksteigt. Es ist sehr wichtig, bei nassem Boden Vorsicht walten zu lassen, weshalb die Begehung dieses Wegs an feuchten oder regnerischen Tagen nicht empfohlen wird. Weiter auf dem Weg entfernt man sich vom Bach und gelangt wieder auf den Saumpfad, dem man bis zur Schotterstraße folgt; dann steigt man bis zum Ausgangspunkt ab, teils auf dem Saumpfad, teils auf der Schotterstraße. Entlang dieses Weges findet man eine sehr besondere und interessante Vegetation, die im Gegensatz zu den meisten Orobie-Tälern xerophil, also trocken, ist. Auf diesem Weg trifft man auf eine relativ geringe Anzahl von Kastanienbäumen, und der Wald besteht anders als in anderen Orobie-Gebieten vorwiegend aus Eichen, Birken und Lärchen.}}
