Imagine walking in a place where every rock holds a millennial story, where the glaciers tell of the past and the mountains reveal secrets dating back to when there were tropical islands and active volcanoes here. This is the geological route of the Upper Val Zebrù: a path that, through seven stages – from Baita Pastore to the Zebrù Passes – accompanies you on a journey through time and matter.

At every stop, nature becomes an open book: you can observe and touch firsthand the evidence of ancient seas and tropical islands, discover deep faults and ancient iron mines, and reflect on the effects of climate change on Alpine glaciers.

Immagina di camminare in un luogo dove ogni roccia custodisce una storia millenaria, dove i ghiacciai parlano del passato e le montagne rivelano segreti che risalgono a quando qui c’erano isole tropicali e vulcani attivi. Questo è il percorso geologico dell’Alta Val Zebrù: un sentiero che, attraverso sette tappe – dalla Baita Pastore fino ai Passi Zebrù – ti accompagna in un viaggio nel tempo e nella materia.

Ad ogni sosta, la natura diventa libro aperto:potrai osservare e toccare con mano le testimonianze di antichi mari e isole tropicaliscoprire  faglie profonde e antiche miniere di ferroriflettere sugli effetti del cambiamento climatico sui ghiacciai alpini.

Bei jedem Halt wird die Natur zum aufgeschlagenen Buch: Du kannst die Zeugnisse alter Meere und tropischer Inseln beobachten und berühren, tiefe Verwerfungen und alte Eisenerzminen entdecken sowie über die Auswirkungen des Klimawandels auf die alpinen Gletscher nachdenken.
