The route starts from the hamlet Voga of Menarola and climbs steeply passing through Alpe Dardano (1334 m a.s.l.) and then Alpe Buglio (1554 m a.s.l.). From Alpe Buglio the path continues to the left keeping on the slope; it continues with a slight incline crossing a sparse larch forest. A deviation to the left leads to Alpe Forcola (1838 m) where the namesake bivouac and a beautiful panorama are located. The bivouac is always open, unattended, and maintenance is regularly carried out by the Pro Loco of Menarola. There are 12 equipped beds, a stove with a wood kitchen, and a bathroom with running water.

From here it is possible to continue the ascent towards Forcola Pass or towards Val Capra (high route).

It is possible to return to Dardano/Voga passing by Alpe Cima.

Si parte dalla frazione Voga di Menarola e sale ripidamente passando per l'Alpe Dardano (1334 m s.l.m.) e poi per l'Alpe Buglio (1554 m s.l.m.). Dall’Alpe Buglio il sentiero prosegue a sinistra mantenendosi in costa; si continua in lieve pendenza attraversando un rado bosco di Larici.Una deviazione a sinistra conduce all’Alpe Forcola (m 1838) dove si trova l'omonimo bivacco ed un bellissimo panorama.Il bivacco è sempre aperto, non custodito e la manutenzione viene effettuata regolarmente dalla Pro Loco di Menarola. Ci sono 12 posti letto attrezzati, una stufa con cucina a legna, un bagno con acqua corrente.

Da qui è possibile continuare la salita verso il Passo della Forcola oppure in direzione Val Capra (alta via).

E' possibile rientrare a Dardano/Voga passando da Alpe Cima.

Start ist im Ortsteil Voga von Menarola, von dort steigt man steil an und passiert die Alpe Dardano (1334 m ü. M.) und dann die Alpe Buglio (1554 m ü. M.). Vom Alpe Buglio führt der Weg links weiter entlang des Hangs; man geht mit leichter Steigung durch einen lichten Lärchenwald. Eine Abzweigung nach links führt zur Alpe Forcola (1838 m), wo die gleichnamige Bivacco und ein herrlicher Ausblick sind. Die Bivacco ist immer geöffnet, unbeaufsichtigt, und wird regelmäßig von der Pro Loco Menarola gewartet. Es gibt 12 ausgestattete Schlafplätze, einen Holzofen mit Kochstelle und ein Bad mit fließendem Wasser.

Von hier kann man weiter zum Forcola-Pass aufsteigen oder in Richtung Val Capra (Hoher Weg) weitergehen.

Es ist möglich, über die Alpe Cima zurück nach Dardano/Voga zu gehen.
