Today the rich alpine vegetation consists of pines, larches, firs, gembri, dwarf pines, and heather.

From the Hotel Bagni Nuovi you enter the Bagni Park and, after walking among firs and larches, you reach the Castellanella, the first bottling plant for thermal water. Following the route, you encounter the Cascata Cassiodora, one of the nine thermal springs and a panoramic point. At the end of the route, you are welcomed by the Fonte Pliniana: inside a particular artificial grotto, warm thermal water springs from a small fountain. Taking the small path towards the Bagni Vecchi, you find the Sorgente di S. Carlo, with its cold iron-rich water, until reaching the Bagni Vecchi and the Church of S. Martino. Taking the dirt road back to the Bagni Nuovi, you finally encounter the Sasso Garibaldi on the left and, further ahead to the right, the Vasca “S” up to the funerary monument for the German alpinists who died in 1878.

Dall’Hotel Bagni Nuovi si entra nel Parco dei Bagni e, dopo un tratto di cammino tra abeti e larici, si incontra la Castellanella, il primo stabilimento di imbottigliamento dell’acqua termale. Seguendo il percorso si incontra la Cascata Cassiodora, una delle nove fonti di acqua termale e un punto panoramico. Al termine del percorso, si viene accolti dalla Fonte Pliniana: all’interno di una particolare grotta artificiale, da una piccola fontanella sgorga l’acqua termale. Imboccando il piccolo sentiero in direzione dei Bagni Vecchi, si incontra la Sorgente di S. Carlo, con la sua acqua fredda ferruginosa, fino a raggiungere i Bagni Vecchi e la Chiesa di S. Martino. Prendendo la strada sterrata che riporta ai Bagni Nuovi, si incontrano, infine, il Sasso Garibaldi a sinistra e, più avanti sulla destra, la vasca “S” fino al monumento funebre per gli alpinisti tedeschi morti nel 1878.

Heute besteht die reiche alpine Vegetation aus Kiefern, Lärchen, Fichten, Zirben, Bergkiefern und Heidekraut.

Vom Hotel Bagni Nuovi betritt man den Park der Bagni und trifft nach einem Weg zwischen Fichten und Lärchen auf die Castellanella, die erste Abfüllanlage für Thermalwasser. Dem Pfad folgend trifft man auf die Cascata Cassiodora, eine der neun Thermalquellen und einen Aussichtspunkt. Am Ende des Wegs wird man von der Fonte Pliniana empfangen: in einer künstlichen Höhle entspringt aus einem kleinen Brunnen das Thermalwasser. Ein kleiner Pfad führt in Richtung Bagni Vecchi zur Quelle von S. Carlo mit ihrem kalten, eisenhaltigen Wasser, bis man die Bagni Vecchi und die Kirche S. Martino erreicht. Der Schotterweg zurück zu den Bagni Nuovi führt schließlich zum Sasso Garibaldi links und weiter rechts zum Becken „S“ bis zum Gedenkmal für die 1878 gestorbenen deutschen Bergsteiger.
