Above the Forni huts, continue west on a flatter path and a service road that leads to the Pradaccio di Sopra huts. Continue along trail S527 and, passing the Raseit huts, reach the Ables huts and the eponymous farm stay. The route winds through pastures, where you can enjoy an excellent view of Valfurva and the Forni Valley, dominated by the splendid pyramid of Mount Tresero. The most observant, looking up to the sky, may spot magnificent golden eagle specimens. Il percorso si snoda tra i pascoli, dove si puo' godere un'ottima vista sulla Valfurva e sulla Valle dei Forni, dominata dalla splendida piramide del monte Tresero. I piu' attenti, alzando lo sguardo al cielo, potranno avvistare magnifici esemplari di aquila reale. Dalle Baite dell'Ables si inizia la discesa lungo il sent. S571.1 e, oltrepassando le baite del Monich, Bacero e Li Nanza, si raggiunge l'abitato di Santa Caterina., de=Vom Hotel Ghiacciaio dei Forni führen die Wege S528 und S555, bergauf, durch einen reinen Zirbenwald, der als einer der interessantesten im Stilfserjoch-Park gilt. Über den Hütten von Forni geht es weiter westwärts auf einem flacheren Weg und einer Servicepiste, die zu den Hütten von Pradaccio di Sopra führt. Der Weg folgt dem Pfad S527 und nachdem man die Hütten von Raseit passiert hat, erreicht man die Hütten von Ables und den gleichnamigen Agriturismo. Der Weg schlängelt sich durch die Weiden, wo man eine ausgezeichnete Aussicht auf das Valfurva und das Forni-Tal genießen kann, das von der prächtigen Pyramide des Monte Tresero dominiert wird. Wer genau hinschaut und den Blick zum Himmel hebt, kann prächtige Exemplare des Steinadlers entdecken.
