The first stage of Bormio 360 crosses a landscape dominated by the sound of water in all its forms. From the Pravasivo parking lot, you follow the path above the foresteria of the Stelvio National Park until you reach state road 38 of the Stelvio, and from here you continue walking along the state road until the entrance to Boscopiano (an alternative path, full of excitement, is already planned in the gorge of the Adda river source that will avoid the state road, but it will still take a couple of years for completion). An uphill segment along a carriage road N184 leads to Rifugio Solena passing by the Malga di Boscopiano and Alpe Solena. Here, a small church dedicated to Sant'Erasmo, built by A2A in 1934, commemorates workers who died during the construction of the Val Fraele dams and the large A2A hydroelectric plants in Valtellina. The route continues crossing the dam and Lake Scale until reaching the Torri di Fraele. Along this stage, there are several rest points to enjoy typical Valtellina dishes: Ristoro Solena, Ristoro Monte Scale, and Chalet Villa Valania.

La prima tappa di Bormio 360 attraversa un paesaggio dominato dallo scrosciare delle acque in tutte le sue forme. Dal parcheggio di Pravasivo si percorre il sentiero posto sopra la foresteria del Parco Nazionale dello Stelvio fino ad arrivare alla strada statale 38 dello Stelvio e da qui si continua a camminare lungo la statale fino all’imbocco di Boscopiano (è già in programma la realizzazione di un sentiero alternativo, di notevole emozione, nella gola della sorgente del fiume Adda che eviterà la strada Statale, ma ci vorranno ancora un paio di anni per la realizzazione). Un tratto in salita lungo una strada carrozzabile N184 porta a Rifugio Solena passando dalla Malga di Boscopiano e l'Alpe Solena. Qui una Chiesetta dedicata a Sant'Erasmo realizzata da A2A nel 1934 ricorda i caduti sul lavoro durante la realizzazione delle dighe della Val Fraele e dei grandi impianti idroelettrici di A2A in Valtellina. L’itinerario continua attraversando la diga e il lago delle Scale sino a raggiungere le Torri di Fraele. Lungo questa tappa ci sono diversi punti di sosta dove gustare i piatti tipici di Valtellina: il Ristoro Solena, il Ristoro Monte Scale e lo Chalet Villa Valania.

Die erste Etappe von Bormio 360 durchquert eine Landschaft, die vom Plätschern des Wassers in all seinen Formen dominiert wird. Vom Parkplatz Pravasivo verläuft der Weg oberhalb der Forstverwaltung des Nationalparks Stilfserjoch bis zur Staatsstraße 38 des Stilfserjochs. Von dort geht es weiter entlang der Staatsstraße bis zum Eingang von Boscopiano (ein alternativer, sehr reizvoller Weg durch die Schlucht der Quelle des Flusses Adda, der die Staatsstraße umgehen wird, ist bereits geplant, aber die Umsetzung wird noch ein paar Jahre dauern). Ein Anstieg auf einer befahrbaren Straße N184 führt zur Schutzhütte Rifugio Solena, vorbei an der Alm Malga di Boscopiano und der Alpe Solena. Hier erinnert eine kleine Kirche, gewidmet dem heiligen Erasmo und 1934 von A2A errichtet, an die bei der Errichtung der Staudämme im Val Fraele und der großen Wasserkraftanlagen von A2A in Veltlin ums Leben gekommenen Arbeiter. Der Weg führt weiter über den Damm und den See Scale bis zu den Torri di Fraele. Entlang dieser Etappe gibt es mehrere Rastpunkte, an denen man die typischen Gerichte von Veltlin genießen kann: das Ristoro Solena, das Ristoro Monte Scale und das Chalet Villa Valania.
