The two routes intersect on the Val Fontana bridge, just before entering the largest winery in Valtellina, Nino Negri. Once you exit the Negri winery, you start climbing again, this time on easy dirt roads and passing through villages and apple orchards of Ponte Valtellina, up to the Ròn valley bridge (km 28). After two kilometers, you cross the village of Tresivio to enter the Inferno sub-wine area, with short but intense ups and downs in the Poggiridenti wine-producing area. The finish line is no longer far, but the last seven km still have some brief steep sections before reaching Montagna di Valtellina and then its Castel Grumello, a real spectacle just a stone's throw from Sondrio. Beyond the Castle, after the last short climb, you can enjoy the final walkway over the Dossi Salati, another area of fine Valtellina wines, and then the brief downhill to Sondrio which leads to the city's lively nightlife in Piazza Garibaldi.

I due percorsi si intersecano sul ponte della Val Fontana, poco prima dell’ingresso nella cantina più grande della Valtellina, la Nino Negri.Una volta usciti dalla cantina Negri, si riprende a salire, questa volta per facili strade bianche e attraversamenti di borghi e di meleti di Ponte Valtellina, fino al ponte della valle di Ròn (km 28). Dopo due kilometri si attraversa il paese di Tresivio, per entrare nella sotto zona vinicola dell’Inferno, con brevi ma intensi saliscendi nel territorio vitivinicolo di Poggiridenti. Il traguardo non è più lontanissimo, ma gli ultimi sette km presentano ancora qualche breve asperità, prima di giungere a Montagna di Valtellina e quindi nel suo Castel Grumello, un vero e proprio spettacolo a due passi da Sondrio. Oltrepassato il Castello, dopo l’ultima breve salita, ci si gode la passerella finale sui Dossi Salati, altro terreno di pregiati vini valtellinesi, e poi la breve picchiata su Sondrio che conduce nella movida della città, in Piazza Garibaldi.

Die beiden Strecken kreuzen sich an der Brücke von Val Fontana, kurz vor dem Eingang zum größten Weingut der Valtellina, Nino Negri. Nachdem man das Weingut Negri verlassen hat, steigt man wieder an, diesmal über einfache Schotterwege und durchquert dabei Dörfer und Apfelplantagen von Ponte Valtellina bis zur Brücke des Ron-Tals (km 28). Nach zwei Kilometern durchquert man das Dorf Tresivio, um in die Unterweingegend Inferno einzutreten, mit kurzen aber intensiven Auf- und Abfahrten im Weinbaugebiet von Poggiridenti. Das Ziel ist nicht mehr weit, doch die letzten sieben Kilometer weisen noch einige kurze Steigungen auf, bevor man Montagna di Valtellina und anschließend das Castel Grumello erreicht, ein wahres Schauspiel ganz in der Nähe von Sondrio. Nachdem man das Schloss passiert hat, genießt man nach dem letzten kurzen Anstieg den finalen Steg über die Dossi Salati, ein weiteres Gebiet mit erlesenen Weinen aus der Valtellina, und dann die kurze Abfahrt nach Sondrio, die in das lebhafte Stadtzentrum auf der Piazza Garibaldi führt.
