From Malghera, reach the Sacco cabin (N253). Descend into the valley floor and after crossing the bridge over the Roasco stream, continue to the Mandri Vegi cabin at 2063m (N201). From here, the road gives way to a path that, turning right, climbs the steep shady slope before reaching the plateau where Pian del Lago lies, turning NE. (Time: 1h 30 min) From here, the path is easy to lose. Continue eastward on flat ground and then ascending, leave the small lake to the south and enter the small grassy valley that leads to the base of a steep scree slope. After climbing, traverse a stony valley which, by going left to bypass a rocky bar, leads to the Sacco Pass.

Da Malghera si raggiunge la casera di Sacco (N253). Si Scende nel fondovalle e passato il ponte sul torrente Roasco si prosegue sino alla Casera di Mandri Vegi 2063m (N201). Da qui la strada lascia il posto al sentiero che piegando a destra si inerpica sulla ripida costa ombrosa prima di raggiungere, voltando a NE, il pianoro dove il sorge il Pian del Lago.(Tempo: 1h 30 min) Da qui il sentiero e' di facile perdita. Si prosegue verso E in piano e poi risalendo si lascia a S il Laghetto e ci si inoltra nella piccola valle erbosa che conduce a alla base di una ripida scarpata detritica. Risalita si percorre una valletta sassosa che percorsa a sinistra per aggirare una barra rocciosa si giunge al Passo di Sacco.

Von Malghera erreicht man die Casera di Sacco (N253). Man steigt ins Talgrund ab, passiert die Brücke über den Roasco-Bach und wandert weiter bis zur Casera di Mandri Vegi 2063 m (N201). Von hier verlässt die Straße den Weg, der rechts abbiegt und den steilen, schattigen Hang hinaufsteigt, bevor man nach Nordost auf die Hochebene gelangt, auf der der Pian del Lago liegt. (Zeit: 1 h 30 min) Ab hier ist der Weg leicht zu verlieren. Man geht nach Osten flach weiter und dann aufsteigend lässt man den kleinen See südlich liegen und betritt das kleine Gras-Tal, das zur Basis einer steilen Schuttreine führt. Nach dem Aufstieg folgt man einem steinigen Tal, das links umrundet wird, um einen Felsriegel zu umgehen, und gelangt so zum Passo di Sacco.
