From the Forni, one leads to the vicinity of the small artificial barrage. Following the signs to the right for the Branca refuge, first pass a small bridge over the Cedec stream and then continue along the bottom of the valley, following a nice, always beaten track on the left of the Frodolfo stream, until you reach a small plateau from where you can see the refuge above on the left. Continue following a small road, always beaten, that with three hairpin bends leads near the small Rosole lake and shortly to the overhanging Branca refuge, reached by the small road that climbs first to the left (normally this stretch is always well traced for the supply of the refuge itself). You now ascend in a northeastern direction entering Val Ro'sole by gradually bringing yourself to the right of the evident line of the median moraine. You skirt it to its end and continue more or less to the center of the valley. When you reach the base of the gully that descends from Pasquale Col you climb it almost entirely, pointing however to the left to a flat ridge area about a hundred meters to the left of the col. From here following the wide east ridge you reach the last thinner section of the north ridge thus reaching the wide flat summit

Dai Forni ci si porta in prossimita' del piccolo sbarramento artificiale. Seguendo le indicazioni verso destra per il rifugio Branca, si passa prima un piccolo ponticello sul torrente Cedec per poi proseguire lungo il fondovalle, seguendo una bella traccia sempre battuta sulla sinistra del torrente Frodolfo, fino a portarsi su un piccolo pianoro da dove si puo' vedere il rifugio sovrastante sulla sinistra. Si continua seguendo una stradina sempre battuta che con tre tornanti porta in prossimita' del laghetto di Rosole ed in breve al sovrastante rifugio Branca, raggiungibile tramite la stradina che sale prima verso sinistra (normalmente questo tratto e' sempre ben tracciato per l'approvvigionamento del rifugio stesso). Si sale ora in direzione nord-est entrando in Val Ro'sole portandosi gradualmente alla destra dell'evidente linea della morena mediana. La si costeggia fino al suo termine e si continua piu' o meno al centro della valle. Giunti alla base del canale che scende dal Colle del Pasquale lo si sale quasi interamente puntando pero' verso sinistra ad una zona di cresta pianeggiante a circa un centinaio di metri alla sinistra del colle. Da qui seguendo l'ampia cresta est si raggiunge l'ultimo tratto piu' sottile della cresta settentrionale raggiungendo cosi' l'ampia cima pianeggiante

Von den Forni geht man in Richtung des kleinen künstlichen Stausees. Man folgt den Hinweisschildern zur Branca-Hütte nach rechts, überquert zunächst eine kleine Brücke über den Cedec-Bach und geht dann auf einem gut ausgetretenen Pfad links des Frodolfo-Bachs weiter in die Talsohle, bis man ein kleines Plateau erreicht, von dem aus man links die darüber liegende Hütte sehen kann. Weiter geht es auf einem Trampelpfad, der in drei Kehren zum kleinen Rosole-See und in Kürze zur darüber liegenden Branca-Hütte führt, die man erreicht, wenn man das Sträßchen nimmt, das zuerst nach links ansteigt (normalerweise ist diese Strecke für die Versorgung der Hütte immer gut gespurt). Wir steigen nun in nordöstlicher Richtung auf, betreten das Val Ro'sole und bewegen uns allmählich nach rechts von der offensichtlichen Linie der Mittelmoräne. Man umgeht sie bis zu ihrem Ende und geht mehr oder weniger in der Mitte des Tals weiter. Am Fuße der Rinne, die vom Colle del Pasquale herabführt, angekommen, steigt man fast vollständig auf und geht nach links zu einem flachen Kammbereich etwa hundert Meter links des Passes. Von hier aus folgt man dem breiten Ostgrat und erreicht den letzten, dünneren Abschnitt des Nordgrats und damit den breiten, flachen Gipfel
