From Sant'Antonio di Scianno, follow the nice little road that climbs with a slight slope through the beautiful forest, arriving after a few hairpin bends at the first huts of Alpe Gattonino. Continue always following the small road at the basal edge of the wide meadow area until it crosses the flat road connecting Cancano with Arnoga. From here with a long diagonal turn to the left staying preferably on the road that climbs into the Vezzola valley you arrive at Vezzola placed at the wooded edge. Now on open ground continue northward going to cross a narrow little valley arriving shortly after at an isolated hut. Climb nearby and continue north until you cross a last short slope at Bocchetta di Trela. If you want to reach Cima Trela, continue left going over a short steep slope leading to the summit.
, it=Da Sant'Antonio di Scianno si segue la bella stradina che sale con lieve pendenza nel bel bosco, arrivando dopo pochi tornanti alle prime baite dell'Alpe Gattonino. Si prosegue sempre seguendo la stradina al margine basale dell'ampia zona prativa fino ad incrociare la strada pianeggiante che collega Cancano con Arnoga. Da qui con una lunga diagonale verso sinistra stando preferibilmente sulla strada che sale in val Vezzola si arriva a Vezzola posta al limite boschivo. Ora su terreno aperto si prosegue verso nord andando a valicare una stretta valletta arrivando poco dopo ad una baita isolata. Si sale nelle vicinanze e si continua verso nord fino a superare un ultimo breve pendio alla Bocchetta di Trela. Se si vuole arrivare sulla Cima Trela si prosegue verso sinistra andando a superare un breve ripido pendio che porta alla cima., de=Von Sant'Antonio di Scianno aus folgt man der schönen kleinen Straße, die sanft durch den schönen Wald ansteigt und nach einigen Kurven zu den ersten Hütten der Alpe Gattonino führt. Man folgt dem Sträßchen am unteren Rand des weiten Wiesengebiets bis zur Kreuzung mit der flachen Straße, die Cancano mit Arnoga verbindet. Von hier aus biegt man in einer langen Linkskurve nach links ab und bleibt vorzugsweise auf der Straße, die ins Vezzola-Tal hinaufführt, bis man am Waldrand Vezzola erreicht. Auf offenem Gelände geht es weiter in Richtung Norden durch ein enges Tal und man erreicht kurz darauf eine einsame Hütte. In der Nähe steigt man auf und geht weiter in Richtung Norden, bis man einen letzten kurzen Hang bei der Bocchetta di Trela überquert. Wenn man die Cima Trela erreichen will, geht man nach links weiter und quert einen kurzen steilen Hang zum Gipfel.
