The route is relatively short and low in elevation gain, ideal for bikers seeking a more scenic than technical experience, although it does have some exposed sections. Along the way there are glimpses of the Livigno valley and the Bernina glacier.
Warning: the trail from Madonon down to Plascianet is forbidden to mountain bikes due to the presence of steep and dangerous sections.

Lungo il tragitto si aprono scorci sulla valle di Livigno e sul ghiacciaio del Bernina.
Attenzione: il sentiero che dal Madonon scende verso Plascianet è vietato alle mountain bike per la presenza di tratti ripidi e pericolosi.
