The long trail starts, leading downhill on the right orographic side with many ups and downs. Almost immediately, cross the splendid Stone Bridge over the Rio Dosegu' and continue along the gorge of the Gavia stream. Then, after passing in front of the Shepherds' Hut 2446 m, you face a fork at 2430 m: to the left, itinerary no. 556 descends directly to Ponte delle Vacche and S. Caterina, while towards the north continue along the contour path on itinerary no. 525 in the direction of the repeater panel to reach Dosso Tresero 2356 m. Here you find the sign with the writing La Romantica, a comfortable wooden bench to admire the splendid panorama of Valfurva and the indication to descend to Santa Caterina along the steep forest trail no. 561. The easier alternative is towards Alpe Tresero heading south for 3.6 km to Ponte delle Vacche 2012 m and to the Gavia Provincial Road on the aforementioned itinerary no. 556., it=Sotto il Rifugio Berni Val di Gavia 2540 m verso est si scende su sterrata, si attraversa il ponte e si va subito a sinistra cartello con segnavia n. 525. Inizia il lungo sentiero che porta a valle sul lato destro orografico con molti saliscendi. Quasi subito si attraversa lo splendido Ponte di Pietra sul Rio Dosegu' e si prosegue lungo la forra del torrente Gavia. Quindi, dopo essere passati davanti alla Baita dei Pastori 2446 m, ci si trova di fronte a un bivio 2430 m: sulla sinistra l'itinerario n. 556 scende direttamente al Ponte delle Vacche e a S. Caterina, mentre verso nord si prosegue a mezzacosta sull'itinerario n. 525 in direzione del pannello ripetitore per giungere al Dosso Tresero 2356 m. Qui troviamo il cartello con la scritta La Romantica, una comoda panchina in legno per ammirare lo splendido panorama sulla Valfurva e l'indicazione per scendere a Santa Caterina lungo il ripido sentiero nel bosco n. 561. L'alternativa piu' facile e' verso l'Alpe Tresero in direzione sud per 3,6 km fino al Ponte delle Vacche 2012 m e alla Provinciale del Gavia sul sopraccitato itinerario n. 556., de=Unterhalb der Rifugio Berni Val di Gavia 2540 m geht es nach Osten auf einer Schotterstraße bergab, man überquert die Brücke und biegt sofort links ab zum Schild mit dem Wegzeichen Nr. 525. Dort beginnt der lange Pfad, der das Tal auf der orografisch rechten Seite mit vielen Höhen und Tiefen hinunterführt. Fast sofort überquert man die wunderschöne Steinbrücke über den Rio Dosegù und folgt der Schlucht des Gavia-Baches. Danach, nachdem man an der Baita dei Pastori 2446 m vorbeigegangen ist, erreicht man eine Weggabelung auf 2430 m: links führt die Route Nr. 556 direkt zur Ponte delle Vacche und nach S. Caterina, während man nach Norden auf der Route Nr. 525 in Richtung des Sendemast-Panels weitermacht, um zum Dosso Tresero 2356 m zu gelangen. Dort befindet sich das Schild mit der Aufschrift "La Romantica", eine bequeme Holzbänkchen zum Bewundern des herrlichen Panoramas über Valfurva und die Anweisung, den steilen Waldweg Nr. 561 nach Santa Caterina hinunterzugehen. Die einfachere Alternative führt in Richtung Süden zum Alpe Tresero für 3,6 km bis zur Ponte delle Vacche 2012 m und der Provinzstraße des Gavia auf der oben genannten Route Nr. 556.}}
