Document{{en=The climb for all MTB routes in Castello dell'Acqua takes place along the municipal road that rises from the valley floor (Sentiero Valtellina parking area near the Sports Field of the Cavallari hamlet), passes through the town square and continues up to Alpe Piazzola and its splendid views over Valtellina (altitude 1200 m). The road is paved up to about 920 m where it becomes dirt with a good surface. The slope is mostly around 7-8% with gentler stretches and others tougher, exceeding 10%. You can avoid the effort by driving up to the small Ca' Gianni parking lot (altitude 860 m), or up to Alpe Piazzola, by purchasing a permit from authorized dealers of the Alpe Piazzola Reclamation Consortium. The route is fun and of medium difficulty, the surface is almost always firm, curves are wide and steps are few and not prohibitive. In the spring of 2017 the Mountain Community of Sondrio, in collaboration with the Municipal Administration of Castello dell'Acqua, reopened an ancient path that allowed cows to be driven from the Luviera hamlet to Alpe Piazzola before the current road was built. The descent starting from Piazzola (1205 m) begins on a mule track with a steep slope and partly uneven surface, quickly reaching La Piana locality where you continue on a dirt road until the path that descends to the right begins. The route is fairly wide with a regular slope, the surface is compact and can be travelled down to the Luviera hamlet with great MTB enjoyment. From Luviera you descend again on a mule track to Ca' Verina where, after a very short asphalt stretch, you take the dirt road leading to Bruga; once you cross the paved road, you head down valley towards the Baghetto bridge where you take the Valtellina trail toward Tirano to return to the starting point., it=La salita per tutti gli itinerari MTB di Castello dell'Acqua si svolge lungo la strada comunale che sale dal fondo valle (area di sosta Sentiero Valtellina vicino al Campo Sportivo della frazione Cavallari), passa dalla piazza del Comune e prosegue fino all'Alpe Piazzola e ai suoi splendidi panorami sulla Valtellina (quota 1200 m). La strada e' asfaltata fino a quota 920 m circa dove diventa sterrata con fondo buono. La pendenza e' prevalentemente attorno al 7-8 % con tratti piu' tranquilli e altri piu' duri fin oltre il 10 %. Si puo' evitare la fatica salendo in auto fino al piccolo parcheggio di Ca' Gianni (quota 860 m), oppure sino all'Alpe Piazzola, acquistando il permesso presso i rivenditori autorizzati dal Consorzio di Bonifica Alpe Piazzola. Il percorso e' divertente e di media difficolta', il fondo e' quasi sempre compatto, le curve sono ampie e i passaggi con gradini sono pochi e non proibitivi. Nella primavera del 2017 la Comunita' Montana di Sondrio, in collaborazione con l'Amministrazione Comunale di Castello dell'Acqua, ha riaperto un antico percorso che permetteva di portare le mucche dalla frazione di Luviera all'Alpe Piazzola prima che fosse realizzata l'attuale strada. La discesa che parte da Piazzola (1205 m) inizia su mulattiera con pendenza sostenuta e fondo a tratti sconnesso, si raggiunge velocemente localita' La Piana dove si prosegue sulla sterrata fino all'imbocco del sentiero che scende a destra. Il tracciato e' abbastanza largo e con pendenza regolare, il fondo e' compatto e puo' essere percorso fino alla frazione di Luviera con grande divertimento in MTB. Da Luviera si scende nuovamente su mulattiera fino a Ca' Verina dove, dopo un brevissimo tratto di asfalto, si imbocca la sterrata che porta a Bruga; una volta incrociata la strada asfaltata ci si dirige a valle verso il ponte del Baghetto dove si imbocca il sentiero Valtellina direzione Tirano per rientrare al punto di partenza., de=Der Aufstieg für alle MTB-Routen in Castello dell'Acqua verläuft entlang der Gemeindestraße, die vom Talboden (Parkplatzbereich Sentiero Valtellina in der Nähe des Sportplatzes des Ortsteils Cavallari) hinaufführt, am Rathausplatz vorbeigeht und bis zur Alpe Piazzola und ihren herrlichen Ausblicken auf das Valtellina (Höhe 1200 m) weitergeht. Die Straße ist bis zu einer Höhe von etwa 920 m asphaltiert, wo sie zu einer gut befahrbaren Schotterstraße wird. Die Steigung beträgt überwiegend etwa 7-8 % mit ruhigeren Abschnitten und anderen, die über 10 % hinausgehen. Die Anstrengung kann vermieden werden, indem man mit dem Auto bis zum kleinen Parkplatz von Ca' Gianni (Höhe 860 m) oder bis zur Alpe Piazzola fährt, wobei eine Genehmigung bei den vom Consorzio di Bonifica Alpe Piazzola autorisierten Händlern zu erwerben ist. Im Frühjahr 2017 hat die Berggemeinschaft von Sondrio in Zusammenarbeit mit der Gemeindeverwaltung von Castello dell'Acqua einen alten Weg wiedereröffnet, der es ermöglichte, Kühe vom Ortsteil Luviera zur Alpe Piazzola zu bringen, bevor die heutige Straße gebaut wurde. Die Abfahrt beginnt an der Piazzola (1205 m) auf einem Fußweg mit steiler Steigung und stellenweise unebenem Untergrund, man erreicht schnell den Ort La Piana, von dort geht es auf der Schotterstraße weiter bis zum Einstieg des Weges, der rechts hinunterführt. Die Strecke ist ziemlich breit und mit regelmäßiger Steigung, der Untergrund ist fest und kann bis zum Ortsteil Luviera mit großem Spaß mit dem MTB befahren werden. Von Luviera führt der Weg wieder auf einem Fußweg hinunter nach Ca' Verina, wo nach einem sehr kurzen Asphaltabschnitt die Schotterstraße nach Bruga genommen wird; nach der Kreuzung mit der Asphaltstraße geht es talwärts Richtung Ponte del Baghetto, wo der Sentiero Valtellina in Richtung Tirano genommen wird, um zum Ausgangspunkt zurückzukehren.}}
