The winter nights may be long, but all the better to enjoy some of these fantastic evening activities in and around Bormio. No staying holed up in your hotel room!
Night skiing in Santa Caterina Valfurva
In the Bormio area, night skiing is available on the Deborah Compagnoni World Cup slope in Santa Caterina Valfurva. There’s nothing like skiing at night on a freshly groomed, floodlit slope without the daytime noise and crowds.
And for course you can round it off with a spot of late après ski at a mountain refuge.
Snowshoeing at night
Ever wanted to try snowshoeing? Here in Bormio, you can give it a go day or night. Join an excursion with the local Alpine Guides, who will help you discover some magical snowy trails through the Stelvio National Park.
A nighttime snowshoe hike, with the moon and stars overhead and the crunch of snow underfoot, is a truly special experience.
Dinner on the mountain
A ride on a snowcat is something to experience at least once.
Hop aboard and head up the mountain to a refuge for a delicious meal. Enjoy a warm welcome and some delicious local specialities as well as views of the snowy mountainside glittering in the moonlight.
Book your mountain meal at the following refuges:
Bormio 2000: Chalet dei Rododendri, Ristoro i Laghetti and Chalet La Rocca
Santa Caterina Valfurva: Sunny Valley Kelo Resort
Take a dip in the thermal waters
There's no better way to unwind after a day outdoors than soaking in the hot thermal waters of the panoramic outdoor pools at one of our thermal spas, followed by an aperitivo in your bathrobe.
QC Terme Bagni Vecchi and Bagni Nuovi are both open well into the evening, while Bormio Terme in the centre of the village also offers regular late openings.
Contact the three thermal spas and treat yourself to a relaxing evening.
