Valle di Rezzalo

Sondalo

Nature

Nestled in the Stelvio National Park, the Valle di Rezzalo is a hidden gem of the Upper Valtellina, perfect for families and lovers of easy hikes. A peaceful valley where time slows down, surrounded by alpine meadows, ancient huts, and the sound of the Rezzalasco stream flowing gently along the trail.

The valley stretches for 13 km from the hamlet of Fumero, following an old military road that winds through dense spruce forests before opening up to wide pastures dominated by the San Bernardo Chapel, a silent witness of history.

Ideal for hiking and mountain biking, the route continues to the Passo dell’Alpe, linking Rezzalo to Valfurva and Santa Caterina Valfurva.

A journey through nature and history
Along the way, admire the traditional alpine huts, still used in summer, and don’t forget your binoculars—you might spot deer, chamois, or other wildlife that thrive in this pristine valley.
