From Forni, follow the comfortable mule track that initially climbs two steep switchbacks, then towards the right becomes flatter and, having bypassed the ridge that leads into Val Cedec, continues halfway up and reaches the Pizzini refuge. A trail is always present but in any case the path is very easy and obvious. Now continue northeast until almost to the start of the cable car that leads to the Casati refuge. Shortly before, veer to the right in an easterly direction passing under the obvious rocky ridge that climbs toward Mount Cevedale. Keep more to the left on the glacier, thus reaching a wide plateau at about 3200 m. In an easterly direction climb the steep slope to exit to the right at the top and follow the dip that leads onto the final plateau above. You take us to the base gradually of the steep slope and diagonally to the right to reach the antecedent on the northeast ridge. Now by gentler route you reach the summit where you are greeted by the new summit cross.
