It is possible to leave the car in the large parking lot in front of the Teglio cemetery; then walk a few meters on the provincial road in the direction of the village of Teglio. Near a grove of conifers (with specimens of Cedar, Spruce, Douglasia) there is a small rest area furnished with table and benches from the middle of which, towards the valley, a small asphalt road starts for a short distance. Upstream you can admire the beautiful bell tower of St. Martin's Church then, near the access to a private area, you take to the left continuing slightly downhill on a dirt road. After a few tens of meters you will overlook the meadows and woods of the locality of Murenken. At the next fork, near a beautiful birch grove, proceed to the right and then cross some meadows and fields (some of which are now no longer cultivated); you then skirt an old mule track for a short distance, onto which you later join, entering a chestnut forest. The road then descends rapidly until it reaches the paved track of the provincial road that leads from Chiuro to Teglio. It is possible from this location to appreciate a beautiful view of the entire central portion of Valtellina. Turn left and walk a short downhill stretch on asphalt toward the clearly visible church of S. Antonio, later taking the small asphalt road that, at the end of the hairpin bend just traveled, descends to the left and then toward the church. Continue in the direction of the built-up area of Teglio (of which it is possible to appreciate a nice view of the profile of the Tower) and reach the built-up area of the district of S. Antonio.

Near a stone-covered fountain, you take a steep concrete-paved narrow road that, you follow, leaving the fountain to your left; noteworthy is the votive wall fresco in the vicinity. You then turn sharply to the left, continuing a few more meters and then turning right, passing a short, very steep section. You reach the dirt road and, leaving the last houses of S. Antonio, continue skirting an apple orchard to the right, still in the direction of Teglio. Just upstream of a high-tension pylon, continue straight ahead again in the direction of the power line. You then reach a new dirt track and take a left, leaving a small bridge over a stream on your right, quickly ascending toward the provincial road, which you reach near a house, turning left and walking a few dozen meters you find yourself back at the starting point.
