Departure from parking lot P10 La Forcola to then head in the direction of trail N151 which leads to La Co'lma, the entrance to Val da Fain, in Swiss territory. To get there, one crosses halfway up on a well-maintained path that cuts across a rather steep ridge where caution is needed to avoid dislodging dangerous rocks that can become projectiles onto the road below. Upon arrival at La Co'lma, near a Swiss military outpost, trail N155 moves to the opposite bank from the one you come from and climbs in switchbacks on a rather steep ridge. At a certain point, you encounter a right turn that leads to the Lach dal Mont. Instead, continue on the left path, which climbs further, until you traverse a ridge section on the border between Italy and Switzerland to reach, with care and caution, the summit of Somp i Crap Ne'ir at 3,104 m above sea level.
