Starting from Bormio 3000, reachable by the cable car that ascends from Bormio - check opening times at tourist offices - take trail S541, passing by the Beautiful Ponds, reaching the Bocca di Profa junction where you continue on trail S518. After crossing the stream at Baita del Pastore, the path joins trail S542 and continues until reaching Sobrettina. From here, a wide path, mostly flat but with some uphill and downhill sections, leads to La Rocca. After crossing the ski slopes, continue along trail S543.1 to Comane and then descend to Bormio 2000 where the cable car back to Bormio departs. The area crossed by this walk is rich in streams and ponds, especially in the Profa Valley. Along the descent towards Bormio, it offers wide views of the valley and the typical alpine pasture vegetation.
