From Zola take road no. 38 and at the first junction turn right along the road to Piazza and Piazza di Dentro. From here continue along path S545 to the hamlet of Piatta. This path is suitable for the whole family and is partially on the paved road that connects Piazza with Piatta, two small and very old hamlets in Valdisotto that feature rural buildings, typical fountains and holy buildings such as the Church of Saint John the Evangelist, the Parish Church of Saint Anne and some shrines of artistic interest. The trail passes through meadows with mountain huts Burat and Magatelli and short stretches of woodland, offering panoramic views over Bormio, the valley and the slopes of Monte Vallecetta.
