Starting from Bormio 3000, which can be reached by cable car from Bormio opening times available from Tourist Offices, take path S541 and, passing via Bei Laghetti, you arrive at the junction of Bocca di Profa where you continue on path S518. After crossing the stream near the Baita del Pastore, the track joins path S542 and continues until you reach Sobrettina. From here a wide path, mostly flat but with some uphill and downhill stretches, leads to La Rocca. Crossing the ski slopes, continue along path S543.1 to Comane and then descend to Bormio 2000 from where the cable car returns to Bormio. The walk passes numerous streams and small lakes, especially in the Valle di Profa. The descent to Bormio offers sweeping views of the valley and the typical vegetation of the alpine pastures.
