From the car park at Fontanaccia, above the village of Fumero, the military track S562 goes up the Valle di Rezzalo along the Rezzalasch stream and soon reaches La Pontela, then continues to the huts of Li Ghe'nda. After Picac is the wide plateau of San Bernardo, then the barns of Malni'o and finally Ronzo'on. Cross the river at the Pont del Me'rlo and climb up the ramparts to Sascel, with on the left the mountain huts of Cambugaton. You arrive at Clev with its picturesque drystone huts. After passing the chalets and meadows of Li Teghia'scia on the left, the path crosses the wide pastures at Pie'n Di Te'rmen up to the Pass de l'Alp where you can still see the dugouts, fortifications and trenches of the First World War. Following the path on the righthand side of the Alp stream you reach the Gavia road up to the Gavia Pass.
