Leave the car at the first dam, the Campo Moro basin. Cross the large wall and continue downhill for about 50 meters. From here, following the signs, you pass a first very steep section, then the path becomes flat and, among the larches, you begin to see the refuge. In the first part of the ascent, the route winds through the woods, then gradually the vegetation becomes increasingly sparse until you emerge onto wide pastures. The path continues zigzagging over knolls until reaching the refuge located a few meters below the Forbici pass. You reach the refuge in 2.30 hours with an elevation gain of 700 m
