This stage is completely flat, easy, and suitable for everyone. From the Fraele Towers, you go down two hairpin bends on the Cancano road and then turn right onto the Decauville (Trail no. N195), a dirt road that leads to Arnoga. Along this route, you can admire beautiful alpine pastures and fir forests between the entrance of the Val Vezzola and Val di Foscagno. In the distance, the glacier of Cima Piazzi and the views over Bormio and Valdidentro will accompany you along the way. This stage is characterized by the absence of support points and refreshment stops along the route. It is therefore recommended to bring water and snacks suitable for the length of the itinerary, especially if there are children. In Arnoga, it is possible to return by public transport with the regular buses on the Bormio – Livigno route.
