This stage is easy and suitable for everyone. It can be done either on foot or with strollers and joelettes. It starts from the Fantelle parking lot in the village of Madonna dei Monti in Valfurva, crosses Cadalbert and continues along trail S546.1 and S531.2 past Casina Bassa. Here in spring and fall there are cows grazing. Then along S533 also called the Reit Foothill until you reach the parking lot in Pravasivo. There are no rest stops or water points along the route. It is good to organize yourself with a good snack and then stop at the organized picnic areas. The larch forest you will be going through is one of the most magical in the Bormio area!
