Starting from the large square with parking at Campo Moro, near the Zoia hut (m 2021 a.s.l.), the path next to the hut skirts Mount Spundascia to the south, overlooking the artificial lake on one side and the wide Campagneda valley on the other. Along some glacier-smoothed rock walls, equipped for climbing, you will soon reach Alpe Campagneda, where, following the signs, you will cross the little stream flowing on the valley floor, to arrive in a little more than half an hour at the enchanting Alpe Prabello (2226 m a.s.l.), dominated by the majestic mass of Pizzo Scalino. The return involves the same route; the more willing, however, can take a loop itinerary that, ascending to the Campagneda lakes (the first at m 2279 a.s.l.), descends from the main valley to rejoin the original path at the Alpe Campagneda refuges. The route is also recommended for mountain bikers, for whom the starting point is the parking lot just over a kilometer before Campo Moro, at the dirt road.
