Le Motte - Sasso Prada

The route starts from the Ski Stadium heading towards Bormio, following the old cycle path, up to Tres. From here, you enter the forest via a forest road full of ups and downs. Crossing the final part of the Motte ski slopes, you briefly enter the municipality of Valdisotto before returning to Valdidentro towards Planecc. You descend until crossing the Viola river (just before it joins the Adda river) and continue until you also cross the Adda itself. You climb up entering the cycle path leading to the Premadio ironworks, then return towards the town center and finally reach the church of Fior d'Alpe. From here, take path N19, which crosses a charming forest adorned with blooming heather. A steady, linear ascent leads to the Sasso Prada area, the highest point of the route. After crossing the valley beneath the Fraele Towers, head towards the houses of Pedenosso Alto, then continue descending towards the Church of San Martino and Urbano. Following Via dei Campi, you reach Pradelle and from here, after one last short stretch, return to the starting point.
