Starting from Passo del Foscagno at 2291 m towards Livigno, follow not the state road but the beautiful single trail no. 129 that descends to Campac at 2064 m, the first houses of Trepalle, then bypasses the slopes of Monte Rocca going to the right and maintaining the altitude on trail sign no. 127, passes in front of Tea de Pila at 2063 m and joins the route that climbs Val Pila towards southeast on trail sign no. 136. With effort, still on a trail, you reach Passo di Val Trela at 2295 m. The fast descent then brings you to the charming Alpe Trela at 2165 m, where you can refresh yourself at the farmhouse of the same name before facing the next regular but demanding climb with its 200 meters of altitude difference on trail sign no. 196, reaching Bocchetta di Trela at 2349 m. Descend on one of the various trail tracks that all lead to the beautiful Pian Vezzola, from where a comfortable dirt road starts in front of the first large house at about 2200 m. The road shortly reaches Alpe Vezzola at 2090 m, first encountering on the right the alternative route trail sign no. 130.1 that comes here from Alpe Trela passing through Val Corta and Val Vezzola. At Alpe Vezzola, turn sharply right on trail sign no. 196.1 and descend, cross a small valley, overcome a short uphill stretch and start the high-altitude traverse towards west on a trail immersed in a beautiful forest. After leaving the trees, the last climb on trail sign no. 186 awaits us, which leads to join the state road at Angelina and then reach Passo Foscagno.
