It is said that on the slopes of the Reit crest the maghe't wandered. These spiteful and evil spirits lived in the mountains, and if provoked, could cause damage and destruction. To protect themselves from the maghe't magic, the valley dwellers placed shrines and crosses scattered throughout the woods, as if they had the power to oppose or keep them distant. The persistence of the maghe't legend, which is still told to children today, is due to a mixture of faith and folklore. For unlike witchcraft, a phenomenon experienced as oppressive and distressing, even for all the related procedural phases, the tradition of the maghe't is almost a fairy tale, populated by fairies, ogres, and elves.
