Imagine a route to pedal in freedom, winding along the valley floor for a good 114 km, following the course of the river, immersed in the green of a lush valley where nature is intact and the air is pure. Imagine discovering a territory following the rhythm of your pedalling, coming into contact with the charms of hidden landscapes, enchanting villages and ancient traditions. One of the most striking features of the Valtellina trail is the scenic beauty of the valley floor and its proximity to one of Italy's longest rivers, Adda, and its natural environment. Along the route it is possible to take advantage of the many equipped rest areas where one can stop for a cheerful family picnic. For those without a bicycle, the Rent a Bike service will allow you to rent bicycles of different types and return them along the route at the various rental points. The railway runs parallel to much of the route. You can therefore also arrive and depart by train carrying your own bike. Fun is within everyone's reach. It only takes a little to forget the stress of everyday life and to pedal carefree to regain serenity and energy through contact with unspoilt nature.
