The Ciclovia dell'Energia (Energy Cycleway) was born in response to the need to enhance, also from a tourist and sporting point of view, the Valtellina territory affected by the presence of A2A's hydroelectric power plants; a will expressed by the local populations at the first forumAscolto, a meeting organized by A2A in February 2016 among local institutions, businesses and associations. The project was born to simultaneously enhance the territory and production sites: a cycleway that can be perfectly integrated in a fascinating context, rich in breathtaking views and points of interest. A project at the service of the community that wants to encourage tourism, while respecting the Valtellina territory. The Ciclovia dell'Energia consists of three routes, distinct in type and route, able to meet the needs of anyone who approaches the mountains: families, amateurs and sportsmen can try their hand at an adventure to discover landscapes that only Valtellina can offer.
