The Plazecc snowshoeing route runs along a loop surrounded by nature that starts from the P3 Calcheira car park, which can also be easily reached by free public transport. The route is always well signposted with green and pink poles, and at the start of the trail there is a panel with all the information on the route. Along this circular route, one passes through a beautiful forest full of larch, fir and pine trees of all species and animals wandering here and there. With a bit of luck, it is possible to see squirrels climbing trees or roe deer running through the snow. The route of medium difficulty winds its way up a not too steep ascent and then descends more steeply to complete the loop. During the snowshoe hike, you can stop at the Scialket mountain hut to eat or take a break. At the end of the route, you can return to the village or stop at the Calcheira restaurant to recover your energy after this beautiful walk in the snow.
