Two overnight stays are planned at the 5th Alpini Refuge at 2877 m in Val Zebru', unmatched for its incredibly suggestive position and warm welcome, and the Forni Refuge at 2200 m, where a comfortable stay and the extraordinary and always appreciated cuisine of chefs Grazia and Pietro await you. Three days dedicated to sport, the flavors of Valtellina specialties, and the hospitality of these welcoming refuges. Tour start: Niblogo Parking Lot Fascinating and pristine, perhaps the wildest of all, Val Zebru' is one of the most evocative valleys of the Stelvio National Park and welcomes hikers with its rich fauna and gentle slopes for a total immersion in the purest and most generous nature, also suitable for less experienced hikers. Here in particular it is possible to observe animal species impossible to see elsewhere such as the Bearded Vulture and the Golden Eagle along with deer, ibex, chamois, squirrels, marmots, and foxes. A truly priceless experience especially for the little ones. Day 1 From the Niblogo parking lot to the 5th Alpini Refuge crossing the magnificent and wild Val Zebru' first on a comfortable dirt road and then on an easy path in the last stretch. Day 2 From the 5th Alpini Refuge to the Forni Refuge passing through Zebrù Pass From the Quinto Alpini Refuge, you descend into the final part of Val Zebru' up to the beautiful waterfall fed by the Mine’s ice. From here climb up to Zebrù Pass at 3010 m from which you enjoy a breathtaking panorama of the Ortles-Cevedale group and the Thirteen Peaks. Then continue always downhill through Val Cedec first towards Pizzini Refuge and then to Forni refuge where the overnight stay is. Day 3 From Forni Refuge to Niblogo Parking Lot. The longest stage but also the gentlest. You will pass the Ables farm and in a succession of suggestive changes of scenery, through the Confinale valley you first reach the Cavallaio huts and then descend into Val Zebru' to return to the Niblogo Parking Lot, where the car was left.
