The Verva Loop is a loop trail that starts in Bormio and leads into the most remote heart of Valtellina. You pedal leaving civilization behind, climbing through larch forests, pastures and ancient mule tracks. Alpe Verva welcomes you with its silent plateau, surrounded by towering mountains that watch over you like guardians. The trail alternates between high-altitude dirt roads and grassy valleys, providing ever-changing views and moments of absolute quiet. This is not a route to be tackled in a rush, but a slow, immersive journey that brings you back to a direct relationship with the mountains. One returns to Bormio with tired legs but with the certainty of having had an authentic and intense experience.
