An ancient peasant custom, between religion and tradition, that has remained intact to this day: the Pasquali are a unique event that has its roots in the past and still today draws the attention and active participation of all Bormini. In the various neighborhoods (quarters) of the town (Buglio, Combo, Dossiglio, Dossorovina, and Maggiore), groups of people form under the guidance of a leader to prepare their project. The event is made even more evocative by the participation of children, families, and folkloric groups, all dressed in traditional costumes. The pasqualisti carry the litters on their shoulders, while the women complete the parade with flowers and small handcrafted products.
The Pasquali remain on display in the Kuerc square until Easter Monday at 7:00 PM.
Program:
- by 8:30 AM - Gathering of participants in V Alpini square
