In the historic centre of Bormio, one of the most eagerly awaited events of the Bormio summer: the Wine Evening.
For the occasion, the most important Valtellina wine producers will display their products in the heart of some historic courtyards: experts and amateurs alike will be invited to learn more about the characteristics and special features of Sassella, Grumello and, of course, Sforzato, the king of Valtellina wines.
Music and entertainment will entertain the evening.
With the Cantine Aperte ticket you can enjoy: •11 wine tastings: 5 DOCG (Controlled and Guaranteed Denomination of Origin) 4 DOC-IGT ( Controlled Denomination of Origin - Regional Geographical Indication) and 2 Sforzati (typical vintage wines) •2 typical food tastings: pizzoccheri and sausage skewers with polenta
The Soft Ticket (suitable for children) will give you access to •1 food tasting •Levissima mineral water
The Sfursat Experience will take place in the De Simoni Palace (Civic Museum). A professional somellier will guide you through a tasting of a series of Sforzato wines (vintage local wines) accompanied by a selection of finger food and a main course. A background violin and guitar concert will accompany the tasting.
In case of bad weather the Cantine Aperte (and Soft Ticket) event will be held Saturday 3rd August
