The queen race, which will allow the most intrepid to cross all the iconic localities of bVal Grosinab. brStart at 5 a.m., and route that up to Eita (first time gate) is the same as the intermediate race. From here, with in your legs already about 24 km and 2000 m. of positive elevation gain, begins the ascent that will take you up to the Vermulera Pass (2734 m a.s.l., the highest point of the entire race), passing through the nucleus of houses of Vermulera (1940 m a.s.l.), the Tres lakes (2200 m a.s.l.) and the beautiful Lake Venus (2410 m a.s.l.). The descent to the resort of Pian del Lac (2325 m a.s.l.) is steep but very runnable. It is now time to enter the wild Val di Sacco, along the technically most complex stretch of the entire route, which after about 5km will lead you to Sapelaccio Lake (2580 m a.s.l.), and from there to the characteristic Bivacco Duilio bivouac. A descent that is very steep at first, and then gradually smoother, leads you to touch the Malghera factory (1964 m asl, second hourly gate), from which you will climb up the other side to the majestic lake of the same name, to be bypassed and then return to Malghera and head back toward Val di Sacco, soon deviating onto the path that in about 8km of continuous and challenging ups and downs, the last muscular stretch, will allow you to reach the splendid Biancadino alpine pasture (2260 m a.s.l.). The real climb is finally over, and athletes will finally be able to let go of their legs and unleash their remaining energy along the descent leading to Fusino (1200 m a.s.l., last refreshment stop), through truly spectacular stretches of trail that will touch the Fopp locations. From here, through an asphalt section that runs alongside the dam of the same name, we rejoin the road that leads to San Giacomo, where the last part of the race begins. The view of the Visconti Castle will be the last gift before the finish line, a sweet and well-deserved reward for all athletes who cross it.
