The Winter Youth Olympic Games Dolomiti Valtellina 2028, taking place from 15 to 29 January 2028, will bring a new generation of international talents to the heart of the Alps. Bormio and Valdidentro will play a leading role in this unique event, hosting some of the most spectacular winter sports disciplines in an outstanding natural and sporting setting.

The Stelvio slope in Bormio: Stelvio Alpine Skiing Centre

The Stelvio slope is one of the most iconic and challenging in the world, a symbol of Bormio’s great Alpine skiing tradition. In 2028, it will host the Alpine skiing competitions of the Winter Youth Olympic Games, delivering speed, technique and adrenaline at the highest level.

Already the venue for the 2026 Winter Olympic Games and historic World Cup races, the Stelvio represents an exciting challenge for young international talents. Here, among legendary turns and steep gradients, tomorrow’s champions will emerge.

Bormio Ice Skating Arena

The Bormio Ice Skating Arena will be the heart of ice disciplines, hosting figure skating and short track competitions. A modern and dynamic venue where elegance, precision and speed come together to create a captivating spectacle for athletes and spectators alike.

As the Italian national short track training center, this facility is a key reference point for athlete development and the growth of the discipline at a national level. From the artistry of figure skating to the intense action of short track, every competition will be a blend of technique and emotion.

Valdidentro Biathlon Stadium
