Starting from the Ciuk locality in Valdisotto, the route follows trail S540 and, at the first fork, continues along trail S543 passing the localities of Fontanalonga and Bormio 2000. At Comane the route joins trail S543.1 until reaching La Rocca. From here, continue on the right along trail S542, first arriving at Malga Vallecetta and then Boero. The route continues on trail S521 and, after passing the equipped picnic area, joins and continues along trail S543. After crossing the wooden bridge over the Rio Vallecetta, it arrives at the locality of Strambeca. Continue along the same trail, passing the localities Baitecia, Lecia, Bormio 2000 and Fontanalonga until reaching trail S540 which returns to the locality of Ciuk. The excursion extends through forests of fir and Scotch pine, alternating with passages along the ski slopes of the Vallecetta side.
