Valentina Trail No. 353

Starting from the Piazza delle sei contrade, we walk east along Corso Roma and reach the intersection that leads us toward the church of SS Peter and Paul and the shrine dedicated to Mary Help of Christians. We go up Via Panoramica and just above the shrine we find the beginning of the path on the right.

The first part goes up crossing the meadows and pushes eastward passing some dry stone walls. The views of Aprica and in particular of Baradello and the Adamello group accompany us until we enter a fir forest. The path climbs until it reaches and enters a dirt road. We turn right and follow the road that without much elevation gain reaches the locality "Plane" and where we find a fork. We climb to the left and at the next fork we keep to the right. The trail reaches the Pian di Gembro nature reserve and picnic area.
