From the church of Presedont in Valdidentro take the road that runs to the right of the small church and enter the woods on path N286. After a short winding, undulating stretch, you come to a fork that on the left leads to Ciuk. Continue to the right and follow Val Lia, passing via Lia dei Carli and passing some typical mountain huts until you reach the Alpe Boron, owned by the Lombardy Region, a complex of five buildings open during the summer months. Spectacular views over Cima Piazzi and its glacier can be seen along the path. At the Alpe you can rest, eat simple traditional dishes, and stay overnight. Although relatively challenging, this hike is suitable for the whole family.
