From the Church of Presedont in Valdidentro, take the road that runs alongside, on the right, the little Church and ventures into the woods along path N286. After a short winding stretch with varying slopes, you reach a fork which, to the left, leads towards the Ciuk. The route instead continues to the right and follows the Val Lia, passing through Lia dei Carli and skirting some typical huts, until reaching Alpe Boron, a state complex of the Lombardy Region, consisting of five buildings and open in the summer months. Along the path, spectacular views of Cima Piazzi and its glacier appear repeatedly. Once at the Alpe, even with the limits imposed by the simplicity of the existing structures, it is possible to rest, eat simple traditional dishes, and stay overnight. The excursion, although relatively challenging, is suitable for the whole family.
