Fun excursion on the Orobic side. You leave the car at Rifugio Le Piane (transit permit issued by the Municipality of Piateda required) where a large parking area is available. You go around the fountain and enter the woods, slightly ascending towards the west. Pleasant walk with some steep sections that in a short time allows you to reach Alpe Pessa following trail 252. Once you reach the Pessa huts, a little higher up, at the junction on the ridge that divides the watershed with Val Venina, descend along trail 257 to Campiolo. Alternatively, you can return directly along the main road leading to the summer pasture Legno Marcio from the new forest track, then continue towards Le Piane. Route suitable for families and children. For the more trained, continuing from Alpe Pessa you can reach the GVO (Gran Via delle Orobie) and Rifugio Mambretti (info in another route).
