The dirt road is traveled for about 500 meters until the signposted junction for Legno Marcio. From here, ascend following the signs for trail 252 beyond the huts of Legno Marcio. Upon reaching the highest point of the itinerary, at about 1600 meters, take the signposted detour towards Campiolo; from the alpine pasture, there is a wide panoramic view of the valley and the city of Sondrio. Then descend towards Corna Alta along a wide and pleasant path. From here, you can follow the forest road that returns to the starting point of the itinerary, or, following the recommended route, descend to Decauville and then ascend, passing through Gaggio and Burnich, towards Cra'p de la Nona. In this case, the total elevation change to cover is about 600 meters.
